Daniele Shick is a dynamic leader in education with over 23 years of experience, including 18 years in leadership roles at both the school and district levels. As the co-founder and CEO of Unlocking Education, she is dedicated to empowering educators with the knowledge and tools to navigate the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence in education.
Currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership & Policy at Florida State University, Daniele’s research focuses on the transformative role of Generative AI in education. With a deep passion for innovation, she has spent the past two years exploring how AI can enhance teaching and learning while ensuring students develop the critical thinking and analytical skills needed to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Before launching Unlocking Education, Daniele built a distinguished career as a classroom teacher, school leader, and district educational leader. Throughout her journey, she has spearheaded initiatives that foster leadership development, advanced innovative curriculum design, and established dynamic professional learning communities. Her efforts have also contributed to cultivating positive school cultures, implementing data-driven decision-making, and leveraging technology to enhance student outcomes.
